Educator
My goal as a teaching artist is to share my love for theatre with students starting at a young age, and continuing with no age limit, with care, accessibility, and authenticity. It is vital to treat people with care at all times, including when working with the vulnerable and unique art of theatre. To me, theatre is an all-encompassing experience that can enhance emotional intelligence and interpersonal understanding. I love working with varied populations and creating accessible spaces, as well as utilizing theatre as a connection instrument. I approach teaching as my authentic self, weaving aspects of my personality into my work to build trust. Theatre is multifaceted, and I am grateful to be able to live by my values of being caring, accessible, and authentic in my theatrical endeavors.

Care
Caring about both the students I'm working with and the work we are doing in foundational to me. It is important to work to understand students as both learners and people, as educational theatre is about growing holistically; it is about both the process as well as the product.
Accessibility
Working with varying populations is incredibly important to me. I find true joy in working with students with exceptionalities. Theatre is an outstanding outlet to exercise and grow social skills, as well as have fun and engage in a hobby.

Authenticity
I approach all I encounter as my authentic self, and encourage others to do the same. My teaching voice comes from both my true personality and full commitment to providing quality education to students. This is a combination that helps build connection and trust in the classroom that leads to a deeper sense of success in learning.
