Educational Leadership
Being a leader has always been important to me, as I love to be part of setting the tone of an environment and be a supportive and dependable figure. I continually seek out leadership opportunities to continue my journey of learning and growing personally and professionally and be a guide to others.

Teaching Artist Fellow
The Rose Theater
It is absolutely enriching to get to work with so many students, while simultaneously learning from my co-workers through the exciting professional development opportunity of The Rose Theater Teaching Artist Fellowship. The Rose Theater internship and fellowship programs have proven to be incredible firsthand training programs that serve as introductions to the field of theatre education through mentorship and resources. In addition to teaching, some of my administrative responsibilities include tabulating grant information from surveys, writing and editing grants, collecting data from teachers, planning classes, writing lesson plans, communicating with co-workers and student contacts, creating documents, sending emails, and preparing materials for residencies. I find great joy in collaborating and communicating, ultimately setting students up for success through documents and organization.
Conference Intern Manager
American Alliance for Theatre and Education
The American Alliance for Theatre and Education brings together theatre educators from around the country to build community, as well as to share resources and insight, all causes I connect with deeply. I started working with AATE as a Conference Intern after a mentor recommended I apply. Since, I have become the Conference Intern Manager, leading a team of interns to help facilitate the yearly conference. Each year, I train the interns, create their conference work schedule, lead meetings, monitor performance throughout the conference, and collect feedback. I also served as the Symposium Manager for our Amplify and Ignite symposium in Salt Lake City, Utah in November 2025. I thrive in the conference environment, where people with shared passions come together and connect as a community, and I am grateful for the cohesive, supportive, knowledgeable, and committed leadership team.

Middle School Theatre Programming Lead
Miami University
In my last year of college, I was given the opportunity through the Miami University Department of Theatre to start after school theatre programming at a local middle school from the ground up. This included designing the programming, creating the schedule, fundraising for materials, recruiting team members, leading team meetings, communicating with the college and middle school, soliciting play submissions, organizing design plans, and facilitating multiple weekly rehearsals/meetings at the middle school. By the end of the school year, we had successfully rehearsed, designed, and performed two plays in front of supportive audiences! I am grateful to have been able to provide an extracurricular theatre opportunity for students who would not have had this experience otherwise. I learned a great amount from these outstanding students.
TYA Research Associate
Miami University
The research side of education is incredibly important and integral. I am honored to have served as a Theatre for Young Audiences Research Associate with Dr. Matt Omasta while an undergraduate student at Miami University. Please check out our publication by clicking on the image to left! I worked with Dr. Omasta and another research associate to process anonymous survey submissions into data that could be analyzed and shared in the TYA report. As a part of the position, I was gratefully able to attend the 2024 TYA/USA conference as professional development! This was an exciting opportunity to learn more about the field from a wide range of TYA artists!
Stage Left President
Miami University
Being President of Stage Left, a musical theatre student organization at Miami University, gave me a beautiful chance to grow as a leader and person. I learned how to work with peers, facilitate meetings, have hard conversations, handle finances, and produce theatrical productions. A point of pride of me is when after my first year as President, we received the Most Improved Organization award from the Student Engagement and Leadership team. My goal was to lead our organization to success through collaboration, inclusion, and art, which we were able to accomplish and continue through my second year as President.
